Contacts

  • In line with the planning of the port of Jurmala territory create and maintan the port infrastructure, construct builldings and edifices to ensure the port operation

  • Within the framework of competence deal with moveable and real property

  • Conclude the agreements with the owners about common use of the hydrotechnical structures for the needs of the port

  • In line with the qualifications cooperate with the educational establishments, which prepare maritime and port management specialists, and with the other organisations and institutions

  • Propose to perform real estate expropriation for the state or public needs

  • If required, provide assistance for the Council of the city of Jūrmala, to maintain and develop the local government infrastructure objects in the territory of the port

  • Perform the other tasks stipulated in the legislative instruments

Board of the port

The highest decision-making authority of the port is the Board of the port, elected in accordance with Article 26 of the law on the ports. There are nine members of the Board of the port of Jurmala
